Fondazione Agnelli and Fondazione Collegio Carlo Alberto host the President of the ECB for the Colloquia promoted by Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei

A prestigious event of great cultural importance for Turin.

This evening, at the Carignano Theatre at 6 p.m., Christine Lagarde, President of the European Central Bank, will hold a Lectio Magistralis as part of the initiatives organised by the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei’s Colloquia on Science Diplomacy to promote the values of diplomacy and science in international relations.

The event is promoted and organised in collaboration with Fondazione Agnelli and Fondazione Collegio Carlo Alberto.

In the presence of the Mayor of Turin and many local authorities, Lagarde will be welcomed to the city and its Carignano Theatre by the presidents of the organisations that promote and organise the event: Roberto ANTONELLI, President of Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei; John ELKANN, President of Fondazione Agnelli; and Giorgio BARBA NAVARETTI, President of Fondazione Collegio Carlo Alberto.

Ambassador Ettore Francesco SEQUI, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has sent his salutation speech.

The GEDI Group is media partner for the event, which will be broadcast via online streaming by La e La Stampa.
