On 12 September, the “Enrico Fermi” and “Giovanni Pascoli” junior secondary schools renovated for the pilot project Torino Fa Scuola officially re-open to the public.

After one year of construction work, Torino Fa Scuola – the project promoted and supported by Fondazione Agnelli and Compagnia di San Paolo, in collaboration with Città di Torino and Fondazione per la Scuola – has concluded the redevelopment of the “Enrico Fermi” and “Giovanni Pascoli” junior secondary schools.

On 9 September, students and teachers began the academic year in completely renovated buildings, with learning spaces redesigned through a shared process that engaged each school’s community and the architects who had won the design competition.

On the morning of Thursday 12 September, the official inauguration was held with the participation of Chiara Appendino (Turin’s mayor), John Elkann (Chairman of Fondazione Agnelli), Francesco Profumo (President of Compagnia di San Paolo) and Fabrizio Manca (General Director of the Piedmont Regional Education Office).
