President of the Agnelli Foundation for Fourteen Years, she passed away today
Maria Sole Agnelli passed away today. She was the sister of Gianni and Susanna Agnelli, and served as President of the Agnelli Foundation for fourteen years, until 2018. She had celebrated her 100th birthday on August 9 of this year.
Alongside her constant and profound civic commitment, during her years at the helm of the Foundation Countess Maria Sole promoted and supported with enthusiasm, dedication, and a keen sensibility research and projects in support of education and culture. She was deeply aware of the fundamental importance of ensuring that all young people in our country are given the best possible educational opportunities to build their future.
The entire Agnelli Foundation remembers her with deep affection and esteem, and joins in the grief of her family and of the many who knew her and held her in such high regard.
